The Velar couples this feeling with abilities I have never owned in a vehicle: examples: the above the Velar 360-degree “Bird’s-Eye or Hovering Drone View” of the vehicle and its near surroundings - this view of the Velar’s surroundings appears whenever the Velar senses you may be getting close to something - the Velar makes you aware of anything that gets too close anywhere my garage floor is higher than the sloping driveway I back down so every time I put the Velar in Reverse both driver and passenger mirror automatically tilt downward as the vehicle starts tilting backwards - works flawlessly! the Velar tells you before you begin a trip if any passenger is not properly belted in (my daughter’s friends thought I had eyes in the back of my head or in the back seat one of the coolest things I have ever witnessed happened when I returned to home after dark and parked the Velar in my garage - my garage door openers have lights and they were ‘ON’ but no other lights were on. The cockpit and interior is where I go to feel safe and glorious. The Velar has these gorgeous super high definition displays down the center front and a driver display with similar visibility and nearly a thousand display options. I liken being in a well-equipped P380 (supercharged V6 with 380 horsepower) R-Dynamic SE to being in a spaceship with wheels.

It has taken a few weeks of YouTube video watching and trial to learn most of the Velar’s features. The one I bought may be missing an option or two (I was going to buy the top version Meridian sound system with 1725-Watts amplifier power - got the next one below with 825-Watts) but I am thrilled. The pandemic made it possible for me to buy an almost new one (15,200 miles one owner) a year sooner so I did it in impulse. I felt like I was riding in my living room (only with a better sound system) so I decided then and there (and after studying sales literature) that I would work towards buying a new Velar (ordered with everything I wanted on it) in 2021. Last year (2019) I was driven home from our local Land Rover dealer in a new Velar (I had dropped off my daughter’s Land Rover LR2 for service). I am biased so factor that in when digesting this. Jaguar Land Rover of West Columbia has an incredible team! I'll definitely be back for my next service. This visit turned out to be a very awesome time. He set up my remote features through my cellphone and explained to me many of the controls inside the vehicle. Nick was very knowledgeable in all the technical features in my Jaguar F-Pace. In addition to meeting Erik, I was introduced to Nick Decarlo. It didn't take long before Erik came back in the lobby and told me they're just about finished and my vehicle was getting a wash as well. While I was there I took this waiting time to look around. After getting some information from my vehicle and myself he escorted me to the lobby area and said it wouldn't take long. I was grateful because this was the only time I had in my busy schedule to get an oil change. He asked me to pull my vehicle in the service area and have a seat in his office. When I got there I was greeted by Erik in the service department and I asked him if it was possible to get an oil change this morning. There is no homes behind this home giving you extra privacy.I came in last week in the morning for an oil change and wasn't sure if it was possible because i didn't have an appointment. There is plenty of room for a few horses as well. Plenty of Rv parking with wide access for your boats, toys and RFV's. This backyard is a perfect set up for gatherings and entertaining. Enjoy the outdoor fireplace perfect for enjoying those cool evenings with guest. There are multi color chaining lights for the pool and the entire backyard has outdoor lighting making this backyard an oasis. Backyard has an amazing pool and spa featuring a Baja shelf to relax on.
